INTRODUCTION: This trek is quiet a challenging trek in Ladakh. The technical climb depends upon the amount of snowfall during the winter or the early spring snowfall. On the day of the summit of “Stok Kangri” 6124m, you will be climbing approximately 1074m / approx 07 hrs and the descend will be 05 hrs maximum. An experienced guide will escort you therefore; he will make sure all safety measures are taken. Oxygen cylinders will be provided when on the expedition for emergency. The second summit “Kangyatse” (Summit 01 6200m/ Summit 02 6400m) lies a few days away from Stok. The summit you will climb about 1200m / approx 08 hrs to the top and the descend will be maximum 05 hrs. The rest of the trek is quiet moderate and you will be crossing over a few passes ranging between 4789m / 5050m. On an average, the treks will be minimum 04 hrs and Maximum 07 hrs depending on the weather and the days.
